Because Digital Writing Matters

National Writing Project, with Dànielle Nicole DeVoss,

Reading Response #1

In a formal letter written to your principal, department chair, curriculum director, superintendent, or a school board member, you will outline your rationale for why digital writing matters and what your department, school, and/or district should do in the coming year to improve the teaching of writing. Building on examples from Because Digital Writing Matters, NCTE's //Writing Now//, the //Writing Next// report, and other resources we have shared in the first week of the institute, your letter should be clear, concise, and inviting. As a business letter it should adhere to the conventions of that genre, including a length of no more than two pages.
